Babys Away New England approached freakdigital to transform its site from an obviously Microsoft Front-Page generated/owner-designed website to a professional, dynamic web presence. freakdigital revamped the site’s information architecture and provided the client with a site that communicated professionalism, trustworthiness, and reliability to potential customers – in an area where such attributes are critical: their children. By developing a consistent and clear design for the site, potential customers instantly understand the commitment to high-quality service that Babys Away New England offers. freakdigital developed admin functionality that allowed the client to easily update inventory and pricing on the site, in real time, form-to-email capability, and also implemented an autoresponder to let potential customers know that their inquiries had been received. With a great deal of traffic coming from the parent babysaway.com site, this site now stands out as one of the most professional and feature-rich consumer-facing sites in the extensive network of Baby’s Away franchise operators.Role: Revamped IA from existing site structure. Designed and developed whole site from start to finish – including all graphics, HTML, CSS and server-side PHP code required. (Previously existing identity remained in place).
