Embrace Life Awards
State Farm's Embrace Life Awards program recognizes women who have suffered the loss of a spouse, and gone on to make remarkable and inspiring achievements in their lives and the lives of others. The goal of the project was to create a landing page for all of the program information and to showcase the stories of past winners. freakdigital edited existing video sources to create a "best of" video montage that captured and communicated the insight and life lessons of past award winners. The brief called for design to convey strength and elegance and to appeal to the women as the primary target.Role: Review existing, multiple Embrace Life websites and sections scattered across web properties managed by State Farm as well as an outside PR agency. Developed IA sitemap recommendation for organization of site based on brief, including content to be included and excluded in some cases, as appropriate. Designed new identity for Embrace Life Awards, all site pages, and directed video editing for creation of "best of" video on homepage.
